Apple announced yesterday that iPad sales grown 28% year on year, this is largely down to the introduction of 2 new models a new cheaper base model the “iPad” and a refresh of the “iPad Pro” models with a new 10.5″ model.

The success has been achieved by amending the product line to target both the cheaper end of the scale for those looking to update older iPads and the higher end of the market looking for an in between form factor for mobile working.

Apple are already promoting IOS 11 as a big step forwards for iPad users, with a host of new multitasking features designed to make the iPad an even more powerful tool.
