Apple has released a security update which should be installed immediately to patch a major flaw in its latest operating system OSX 10.13. Apple has apologised with the following quote:
“Security is a top priority for every Apple product, and regrettably we stumbled with this release of macOS. We greatly regret this error and we apologise to all Mac users, both for releasing with this vulnerability and for the concern it has caused. Our customers deserve better. We are auditing our development processes to help prevent this from happening again”
We would advise all users of OSX 10.13 to install the security update immediately
The latest update can also break some file sharing services, Apple have released the following fix information for that particular problem too https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT208317
